Who We Are

Starting with a speciality restaurant in Ahmedabad in 1980, the Group today has more than 150 successfully operating restaurants across the globe. It is a highly diversified entity with interests in Hospitality, Packaged Foods, Manufacturing & Distribution, Exports, Hoteliering and Real Estate.

Awards & Accolades

 The group has received many accolades, awards & recognitions.
 In 1997, The Guinness Book of World Records awarded a "Certificate of Commemoration" to the restaurant chain for making a 25 Ft. long Dosa – the largest Dosa in the World.
 In 2006, Sankalp broke its own record by making a 30 Ft. long Dosa, earning yet another place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
 The Zee Network awarded the Group with ‘Shabaash India Certificate of Excellence’ in 2006.
 The Company has bagged the Times Food Award in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for its stellar performance.
 The Gujarat Tourism brochure describes Sankalp as the “Most Authentic South Indian Restaurant”. In May 2012 Mr. Kailash Goenka became the recipient of Gauravvanta Gujarati, an award for his excellence in entrepreneurship.
 The Harrow Times UK also awarded Sankalp the Restaurant Of The Year 2012. This was a popular choice award.
 In 2013, the Group was awarded the Best Regional Restaurant Chain by the very popular franchising company Franchise India.
 In 2013, Sankalp set yet another benchmark by creating the 53.3 Ft. Dosa. This is the longest Dosa in the world and a record by itself.
 In Oct. 2013, the Group was awarded Best in Restaurant Category at the 11th Award for Excellence in Franchising & Business Development.
 In 2014 and 2015, Sankalp was awarded Traveller’s Choice for Best South Indian restaurant by TripAdvisor.
 Mr. Kailash Goenka was honoured by Dainik Bhaskar in 2015 towards his contribution in making a Greener Planet.
 In May 2016, Sankalp was awarded Best South Indian Restaurant award by Red FM.
 In 2017, Sankalp bagged the Coca-Cola Golden Spoon Award for the Most Admired Restaurant Chain of the Year.
